As it says in the 411 – Buddhist Coffee Fiend. Terrestrial Pirate. Songwriting Guitarist. Unapologetic Bluesman. Renowned Musicologist. Attorney. Dog Lover. Purveyor of Used Cars, Drowned Land, Manure, Recycled Nails, Flyswatters, and Used Bongos. I live in northern New Jersey with my wife and, of course, the dog.
Music has always been an important part of my life. I began playing guitar at the age of fourteen. In 1970 I saw the Allman Brothers Band perform at Bill Graham’s legendary Fillmore East in New York City, and I’ve been hooked on (or defiled by, as the case may be) the Blues ever since.
I like to cook and have been told I have some skills in that area (thank you, Emeril!). I spent more years in school than I ever thought I would, and probably know too much for my own good – a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
I am sometimes irreverently opinionated and usually caustically humorous. Mean people are a drag and I have little tolerance for such scoundrels. I really like people, really love music, and I love to play the guitar every chance I get.
I believe that suffering is a choice, as the Buddha said, and I choose not to suffer.
